Superherosanonymous made a post about wanting to see a parody video of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” of Hawke and Anders with Varric acting as Timon and Fenris acting as Pumbaa.
So this happened.
New headcanon: Varric once dressed in drag and did a dance to get Hawke out of danger and Fenris has farts that can knock over a Bronto.

A good while back I drew inspiration from theemmers, who had tried this idea out first, and put together a Varric inspired eyeshadow look. (Shameless plug is shameless.)
Tonight, I figured “why the heck not” and decided that maybe I should try out a look for all of the DA2 companions. I’m probably going to do either Isabela or Merrill next, but here we have Fenris.
Sugarpill’s Lumi makes a really good Lyrium marking glow look when layered over black eyeliner. At least I think so. :3
I love the subtle hints they give in game towards Varric’s reactions to Bartrand. We see his anger quite clearly, but I love that that isn’t all we see coming from Varric. When I let Varric kill Bartrand and I got the conversation afterwards about how ending his brother was the hardest thing he’d ever done, I felt so bad for him.
I think that’s one of many things that can really bond Varric and Hawke. He/She has lost a sibling, sometimes two, as well as a mother and you can see that common ground so well when Fenris attempts to kill Varania. They both know how bad it hurts and Varric especially knows that killing a family member who has wronged you doesn’t necessarily make it better, no matter how satisfying it might be for that one moment when the killing blow is delivered.
All right. I’m done with my silly rambling.
This scene never fails to make me laugh. Not just for Varric’s epic impersonation and cackle, but Fenris’ perfectly timed response.
I want to hug them both.

i always feel silly posting fan stuff. there’s already so much good stuff out there already it’s kind of like turning up to a party and giving out bath bombs you got from Poundland when someone’s just been handing out Ipads. but it’s practice and i’m still learning the basic stuff and feathery pauldrons are fun and so is riding a dragon wearing a bikini :c
